The Closer Season 7 Episode 5 - Forgive Us Our Trespasses, Aired: August 8, 2011 9:00 PM on TNT. The Closer is an American television police drama series. The show, which focuses upon the character of Deputy Police Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (Kyra Sedgwick), is shown on Turner Network Television. Since its inception, the show has chronicled the cases of Johnson, who comes from Atlanta to Los Angeles to head up a special unit of the LAPD that handles sensitive, high-profile murder cases (Priority Homicide Division). Johnson's quirky personality and hard-nosed approach often rub her colleagues the wrong way, but her reputation as one of the world's best interrogators eventually wins over even her toughest critics.

Previous Story: Flynn and Provenza plunge into yet another ill-fated adventure when they try to make quick cash by serving court papers for a lawyer. The boys get a bad break when they serve a man—and he's killed just minutes afterward. Adam Arkin guest stars. Flynn and Provenza decide to see if a lawyer will hire them to serve papers for him as a job. What they don't realize is that they are immediately in trouble after the man they served papers to dies.

The squad searches for a vanished boy who has a connection to Lt. Tao. Elsewhere, Capt. Raydor continues her methodical review of Brenda's team and offers a troubling recommendation to Brenda. The trouble for Brenda only continues as captain Raydor makes a suggestion that Brenda may not like while the audit of her unit continues because of a particular case. The team's next case could get too close to home for Lieutenant Tao because the boy who is missing goes to the camp where the lieutenant's son works during the summer.

Now Episode : The team snoop into the death of a minister, but their investigation is jeopardized by the victim's own shady secrets and his family's efforts to protect his name and their church. Meanwhile, all but one member of the unit receive a civil-suit subpoena as suspicions and tensions begin to grow within the squad.The family of a prominent minister could find itself in big trouble while also trying to protect the church, as the squad looks into the crime. Major crimes could find itself in an interesting situation after someone doesn't get a subpoena, leaving everyone on the squad wondering who and why that person didn't get the subpoena to question what might happen next.
